A federal judge turned down laws backed by Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker. The provisions let undocumented students pay lower in-state tuition at state colleges. Prior court rulings also struck down Illinois’ sanctuary policies and other Pritzker steps on immigration. The Trump administration has also been winning similar cases. No word yet from the Illinois Attorney General on the latest case.
