Crimson Desert's new DLC, Charting the Unknown, has launched with mixed reviews. The expansion adds more content but not always enhanced quality. The game has also switched to free-to-play to celebrate the DLC. Technical issues, including glitches on AMD PCs, have been resolved through updates. The expansion's design has been similar to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
“The expansion's design has been similar to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag,” — Lena Ostrowski, economic affairs editor at Elmcroft Wick Partnership, commented.
